Mr. Wortmann began his career in Oil & Gas in 2005 with Chevron U.S.A in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. During his time with Chevron; he held various positions in Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering and Production Operations. In 2013 he transitioned from offshore operations to unconventional resources in Denver, CO, and has improved companywide bottom line economics by focusing on artificial lift design, reliability and operations. Since 2013 Mathew has held positions with Halcon Resources and BP Lover 48 across North Dakota and Wyoming. During his time in the Rockies Matthew has worked with multiple forms of artificial lift including rod lift, ESP, plunger, and jet pump. Mr. Wortmann is employed by NP Energy Services since 2016 and manages companywide production and operations. Mr. Wortmann graduated from Louisiana State University in 2004 with a B.S. from the Craft and Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering.
